Photographer's Note

While I was snapping away during the recent Utah Grand Prix at Miller Motorsports Park in Toeele, Utah I noticed that I wasn't alone...This fellow is part of the 'professional' photographers at the race and was able to position himself right at the apex of the first a position that I would have loved to be in. As I watched him through my lens I wondered if he realized that I was doing so and if he could see me as well...

The car in the foreground is a Panoz Esperante GTLM, from one of the founders of the American Le Mans Series, Don Panoz. Panoz is based out of Georgiaa and are really kind of interesting cars. Don Panoz reminds me a little bit of Carroll Shelby...only he's not nuts and he has business sense.

Nothing special about the exposure, aperture priority, wide open, Nikon doing all of the work.
