This is the stunning Aston Martin DBR9 running at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, Utah. This car, piloted by Andrea Piccini and Stephane Sarrazin, took the runner-up spot, second only to their teammates in the GT1 class. This was the first time these cars have finished 1-2 in thier class since their debut last year at Sebring.

The DBR9 is based off the the Aston Martin DB-9 road car and is finished in the proper color...Aston Martin Racing Green. The sound of the V-12 as it runs full throttle down the straight is absolutely amazing. If your heart doesn't stir and your sould doesn't fill with passion with this car then your are either dead or so close to dying that it really doesn't matter.

The image was captured using aperture priority, late in the evening. The only difficult part of the image was shooting it when it was in the clear between the emergency vehicle and the golf cart full of safety techs.
