Photographer's Note
The Lower Falls are located on Calf Creek in Garfield County, Utah just south of Boulder.
The falls are 126 feet high, Calf Creek Canyon below the falls was home to some of the Fremont People who disappeared around 1300AD at the same time as the Anasazi. There are several Fremont granaries on the cliffs of the canyon and some good examples of Fremont Pictographs.

Hi Bob!
Amazing shot : the colors are so vivid!
Your POV is excellent and the sky is magnificent!
Wasn't it for the trees, i'd say this photo is almost a masterpiece!
Congratulations and thanks for sharing

great place well depicted, the colors are just perfect with the yellow/blue association. The trees complete the picture nicely. Greetings. Samuel

This is a good composition, with nice mix of colors and soft water. Did you use a tripod? The waterfall might be better if it were slightly off-center.
The sky is not pasted in; the leaves on the right make that clear. However, it does look like it was because the sky edge on the left is overly sharp (possibly a side effect of the reduction necessary to submit it to TE?). Anyway, I did a small WS to see if I could soften that edge just enough to take away the fake look; see if it worked.

such a beautiful place - your rendition is very nice indeed - one can sense the air and hear the sound of the water - it's one of those images that it is easy to inhabit somehow..........

Hi Bob,
great shot! nice, crisp colors. For me at least, the waterfall works fine centered as it is. Just one little doubt comes to my mind: since there's no reference in the shot (not that is something bad) how tall is the waterfall? TFS. Rafa.

One of my favorite places in Utah...along with the upper provo river falls.
Very well done, especially if you shot it handheld. The image appears to be not as sharp as it could be.
But it is still a very nice image.
