Photographer's Note
Capitol Reef gets less than eight inches of rain per year, but danger awaits the unprepared. Flash floods can occur any time but are most common when late summer thunderstorm send raging torrents down otherwise dry, sandy washes. Twisted, stunted juniper and pine trees and other hardy plants dot the landscape.

Hello Zbigniew,
the inclusion of the trees in the FG helps to give a nice depth to this spectacular location where the strata layers are also well illustrated.
Regards Les.

Hi Zbigniew,
A very interesting landscape here with very attractive colours. This could be from a scene in a real "wild west" movie. A well taken picture.
Kind regards

Hello Zbigniew,
Excellent view to Capitol Reef rocks in superb light. I like the arrangement with the green tree in foreground and the blue cloudy sky in BG, creating nice color contrast.
Very well done.
Wish you a nice Sunday.
Greetings,
Miro
