A strange, beautiful landscape of multi-hued rock layers, Capitol Reef National Park lies in the heart of Utah's canyon country. Here you see geologic formations of the Waterpocket Fold and Cathedral Valley, archaeological evidence of the ancient Fremont Culture, vestiges of a historic Mormon settlement, and a range of habitats for diverse plants and animals.

A stunning picture ! Of course , it could have been a superb panoramic landscape without the marked road in the FG . But with it , the effect is interesting .

Hi Zbigniew,

You gave the majority space to a parking lot? But we can still see the beautiful landscape in the background. This part of America is very unique and picturesque.

nice the view of the place with the rock formations to cover so pleasantly the backdrop of the image.
The foreground lines create a beautiful texture as a charmy the optical effect.

Hello Zbigniew,
The unique foreground really makes this photo stand out. The landscape in the distance is beautiful, but those white lines create an optical illusion, and point right towards the reef. Nice composition and presentation of this natural wonder.

Hi Zbigniew,

As a native of Utah (Salt Lake City), I was immediately drawn towards these pictures from the Southern part of the state. :) Generally this much foreground would be an unwanted element, but with the striped and curved markings, it makes for a terrific and original way to showcase this region with a graphic appeal.

Always enjoy seeing the ranges of earthy colors and textures, all complimented by a blue sky and contrasting darker clouds. Bright, detailed and luminous. Very well presented on all accounts. Enjoy the new day ahead.
