Bryce Canyon #3, a photo from Utah, West

Photographer's Note

People have lived in the Colorado Plateau region for about 12,000 years, but only random fragments of worked stone reveal their presence near Bryce Canyon. Artifacts add details of human use at lower elevations, and archeologists study ancestral Puebloan and Fremont cultural influences found nearby. Paiutes, who lived here when white settlers came to southern Utah, accounted for the hoodoos as the "Legend People" whom Coyote had turned to stone.

Very clean sharp photo with Beautiful colors under a warm intense light. Great idea to include the rock on the right for extra depth and definition. Really nice photo

This is one more good picture from Bryce Canyon. You have chosen a perfect point of view to show so many towering rocks. An excellent composition, bright light, lovely colors and hues, from white and yellow to red and brown, and very high quality of the image. Perfectly good presentation of this unique place!
