Cold Creek is a tiny community about 40 miles (55 km) northwest of Las Vegas which is at a higher elevation and also a home to several wild horses.

Bright day reflection well collected from the snowy bank, Eleu.
I believe it is a real Cold-Creek, double meaning, especially in winter...

The lake makes a very nice smooth curve. Thereby it reflects the snowy mountains well.
A very beautiful landscape under a pretty blue sky with an even blue reflection in the water.

several wild horses, that sounds very nice indeed.
I know you've posted wild horses before, it must be from this area?

smart choice to capture this shot from this point of view, the obvious reflection is a great focal point. I also like the wrap around effect with the curves inside the frame.

Hi Eleu,

The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The distance between the lake and the mountains is giving depth to the composition. The point of view is showing the details of the mountain. The good luminosity is making ghe colors to stand out. Have a nice day.

Hello Eleu,

Cold Creek seems a very appropriate name for this location, which does look excedingly cold! The snow-capped mountain really emphasises this coldness, which is then duplicated by the crisp reflection in the water.
The light is very good for March, with well saturated colours all round.

Hello Eleu, Nice winter shot from Nevada, the winter came early, maybe it is the reason it is called Old Creek. Very nice composition with beautiful reflection and light frost on the grasses. Excellent depth and sharpness.

On sent presque le froid dans cette composition. On sent aussi que le vent vient de loin. J'aime beaucoup les reflets de la montagne dans ce beau plan d'eau.

Picturesque lake in winter sunny day with excellent detail and what a fantastic deep blue water and its still mirror reflection. The snow peak is beautifully positioned providing a strong element for the eye to rest. What an incredible location beautifully captured. Congrats
