Photographer's Note
Piece of Paradise
Along the old “Red Road” in the South East corner of the Big Island. I stopped for lunch in the small (only two tables) picnic area of the park. This is the view I had my table. Please let me know what you think.
Isaac Hale Beach Park. This beach park on Highway 137, Puna District, Island of Hawaii, south of Cape Kumukahi, has a busy boat-launching ramp used by local commercial fishermen. The bay is also used for water sports like body boarding, surfing, and swimming. The beach has small pebbles and rocks -- no fine sand

Islands are decieving. It's not all white beaches and blue waters. I learned my lesson in Mauritius. Even inside the water the coral reef cuts your feet and the beach had sand but also a lot of small pebbles and rocks. In SA most of the beaches have soft sand where you can walk barefoot.
I like the tree infront and the contrast between the smooth sea and the rocks.
