Hello, a surfer on his way to catch some big waves left from the storm we had last week. It was a beautiful sunrise yesterday.
This is from Surfers Point in Ventura very near the Fairgrounds.The Ventura Pier is in the background and the mountain on the horizon is Old Boney Mountain in the Santa Monica Mountain range.

Hello Karen,

You show us a very nice contrast picture with the pink sky and the man in black in foreground.
Also the reflections are pleasant to look at.
One advice, makes in future the horizon of the sea nice horizontal.
Pleasant panoramic view about the area.
An excellent composition, nice presentation too

Hi Karen

Splendid evening on the seashore, the sunset colors are gorgeous and the deserted beach is travelled by a lonely surfer going back home.
But:
- I don't like the black spot at top left
- the top of the sky is too uniform, so un interesting
- he horizon is tilted
- the surfer is too centered,
a good occasion to show you how to correct these points in a WS
