Photographer's Note
This is a well photographed rock formation at El Matador Beach in Malibu, CA. It was a very sunny day but by the time I arrived at the beach, very nondescript clouds had rolled in to cover the sky. It gave me the opportunity to make a different photo than I had seen before. The water that had rushed over my feet gave this dreamy smooth texture as it ran back off the sand.
Processed in Adobe Lightroom, sharpened and added additional contrast.

Hi Brad,
I like the way water moves, whilst clouds doesn't.
The rock itself makes me think about an emerging reptile head...but that's my imagination!
Well done, was worth watering your feet ;-))
Best regards,
Fred

Hi Brad,
This is a lovely scene and slow shutter brings out the motion very well. However I was wondering if you did shoot with a little higher shutter speed, 1/3 sec for instance as I think that would capture the movements more distinctly. Just my thought though.

The clouds seemes to be hanging very low, at least the horizont which meets the water gives such an impression. Very good composition and contrast between shades of grey and brownish rock. Well done!
Best Regards, Kate
