Photographer's Note
Mono Lake after sunrise, cropped from a much wider angle shot, and sky darkened, I like the clouds in the wide angle much better, but the reflections have better detail closeup, I don't know if I made the right choice, so I will add the original phoito to workshop.

Hi Tan, tough chice between the original and the one presented. I like both and it would be even more difficult to decide if the original would be worked out.
After much thinking I give preference to the origianl one. The sky is extremely representative and the reflections on the left corner are unique.
Great use of circular polarizer!

Excellent idea to split into 2 separate frames. It is more vivid and focused in this version. Very surreal quality.

Ce recadrage est intéressant mais je crois que je préfère la version originale surtout pour le ciel qui est magnifique. Ceci dit, l'endroit est fantastique et la photo proposée excellente.

Yes, I think you did. And the framing works better with the large pincacle on the far right of the frame.

Hello Tan,
good structure and framing. Nice to see the sky darker as the water and the perfect reflections there in the soft light.
Well seen and done. TFS Thomas

Impressive ghostly atmoshphere, very well cpautred. Is there a slimy snakelike monster ready to show its head in that lake?

Hello Tan, I like both shots very much. In fact I think you could have got away with posting both as originals as both are very different. The reflections in this picture are beautiful. The water reflects the sky so well it is almost like the rocks are floating in the air. The mountains make for an attractive backdrop.

Difficult to choose between the two, Tan as both are beautiful.
Nonetheless this one has a particular charme specially for the great reflections on the still waters.
Surreal image with stunning colours.

Tan, great picture. I like the simetry of the reflections on the water and the contrast to take more shadows. Nice background with the low altitude mountains.
Well done!

Hi Tan,
The clarity of the lake's surface is stunning as well as the sharpness of the mountains in background. It seems the air was absolutely clean with great sight distance. Excellent picture indeed.
Thanks,

Hi Tan, this is a fine image, the reflections & colours are very good, and the composition works very well with the details in the foreground but also the points of interest in the distant areas.
I can understand your dilemma between this shot and the workshop. Both images are good, I really like the sky in the workshop but I think I'd pick this one as my preference, the crop is more effective.

What an amazing shot of Mono Lake! I love the light on the rocks in the water and the low sunlight over the landscape in the distance. The scenery really stands out so beautiful against the darker sky. Great composition with amazing details, beautiful light and stunning reflections in the lake! Amazing work, Tan!

Merhaba Tan,
Üstadım taşlardan da bu kadar net, bu kadar güzel fotoğraf çıkar mı? Örneği burada... Neredeyse yansıma çizgisi belli dahi olmuyor. Selamlar, saygılar.
