Photographer's Note

Brazos Bend State Park is a 5,000 acre (20 kmē) state park in Needville, Texas, along the Brazos River. It is run by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. The park is a haven for wildlife, including over 270 species of birds, as well as white-tailed deer, armadillo, raccoons,coyotes(not often) and is heavily populated with the American alligator.

I took this picture toward the Elm Lake. They say there are many alligators there. The water was so quiet, it is hard to tell what is underneath...
