Photographer's Note
The second in my series of four of this family I came across on the edge of a swamp on New Year's Day 1968. I got to go inside their home and while it was too dark to photograph; they had framed a picture of JFK that had been the cover of Time magazine and hung it on a wall.
Taken [probably] with a Bronica C with 75mm Nikkor lens. I think I used Plus X film. I scanned it with a Nikon ED-8000 and used Photoshop CS2 yesterday to correct tonal range.

Its really a great pleasure to see pictures from the past. We start realizing the importance of the tool we are holding in our hands.
I really would have loved to see what the men were doing.. There is too much space in both the sides of the picture..

Wow, the other side of the image you posed recentl, and a diferent feel. The guy lying on his side and the womand add such a different emotion to this picture.
It is also so historic. I ask myself that if TE were active in 1968, how would I have viewed this?
As it is, I love it.
