Photographer's Note
At the mobilisations around the World Bank and IMF meetings in Washington DC in April 2000 a heavy police presence was highly visible. I'm not sure whether this police officer felt instinctively that I was a threat or a fellow recorder of events--though we did have different reasons for being "recorders".
