Photographer's Note
The U.S. Virgin Islands consist of mainly three islands: St. Thomas, St. John, and St. Croix. The Regal Princess was docked at St. Thomas, the most commercialized island of the three. We took the shore excursion went to St. John instead.
The U.S. Virgin Islands was first purchased by United States government from Denmark. Then private investors acquired properties on the island of St. John for tourism purpose. In 1956, Rockefeller donated his extensive lands to become a national park. Today, Virgin Islands National Park is the southernmost national park in the United States covering three-fifths of St. John. This part of island is strictly protected from development. It has a sleepy, secluded feel.

Hi Tiffany
excellent note, I have certainly learned something new today.
its pretty obvious what the key focal point is in this scene, those water colors are superb!!!
It would be pretty hard to find colors like that in the mainland USA :)
lucky for you to have been here, now I want to visit as well. nice to have the rocks in the scene to rough it up a bit.
sweet shot
cheers
