Photographer's Note
Hello to all TE friends!
Here´s my shot from the famous NY!
The POV is from under the Manhatten Bridge. The Bridge you can see is the Brooklyn Bridge (it´s one of 2,027 bridges that connect the two islands). During the construction of the bridge 1869, more than 20 peolple died. They had to build a deep base and the workers had to dive very deep. They died because of aeroembolism. A few days after the opening, a woman twisted her ankle and screamed very loud, so the people thought the bridge was going to collapse. In this panic 12 people died and 35 were injured. Of these 35 people 22 died in hospital.
Well, these were the unlovely things of the bridge and its construction, but the lovely things are, that the bridge is very beautiful. It also makes it possible for 100,000 people to get from Manhatten to Brooklyn every day.
I hope you like the photo!
Best regards,
Kris

Great colors. Good exposure.
I guess it is very difficult to find good pov there, always something is covered.
You have chosen very well.

Hey Kris,
You and Mark really are in competition here. Saw yesterday Mark his firworks and today yor NYC picture with the bridge. You must be have stood side by side in making these shors....are you twins? ;-)
Great shot my friend, light on the bridge and towers look great, just as the silky water and the blue hour...a classic but good picture.

Hi Kris!
Jonas

New York, New York, What a city. I would have like to live here for a few years if I were younger. Not that I'm that old, but old enough that I would want a more relax place to live. A very good night shot, the sharpness is not as good as you last post but it very soothing to look at and very enjoyable. Color and light very well managed with rich and natural tone, the long exposured give the water a very smooth and soft silk like texture. Thanks Kris.

Hello Kris,
Beautiful nightscape taken from the good position, we can see the waterfall of public art in this year. It might seem to be New York in our memories when brightening the city lightings a little. Still definitely a successful shot.
Have a nice day, Hisashi

Hi Kris
You had choose a better pov than a lot of other who are too close (much details of the bridge but less of city in background). Again you did it at blue hour and your choice of framing between sky and water is well-balanced.
A panoramic view could have be impressive.
To finish, i like those kind of frames.
Have a good day

Hi Kris,
Very nice!! Womderful long exposure resulting in great light. And also off course the moment with the little bit of blue hour is very nice.
Jeez, what a story. You see what can happen if women scream... ;-)
Greetings!

You got some really great pictures in your Gallery Kris!
This is a very classy night shot of NY, perfect time of day, everything is lit up, but the sky is still blue.
Great pov.

outstanding POV time and atmosphere.
yeap I love night scenes.
No technical flaws like I previously mentioned, I'd like it a bittt sharper, but its only a matter of opinion.
A couple of suggestions only. I suppose you know the trick to make the lights look like stars by using a narrow aperture. If not, check this post here. Not so proud for the lighting but you'll get the picture :)
Some lenses can produce more star rays by using a narrow aperture. It depends though on the size of the light source and the exposure.
Many Regards
Stelios
