Photos

This is a photo of "The Old Man of the Mountain" in NH. It is NH's logo. The photo was taken at 10pm in November. The Old Man was lite up by the rising full Moon. It was taken with my Nikon f, 400mm lens and ISO-1600 film, it was a 30 minute exposure. Since it was a 30 minute exposure the picture is not as sharp because the moon was moving across the face causing shadows to shift. You can see the star trails in the sky. My goal was to get The Old Man against the star trails.
An interesting caveat' just last year the Old Man's face fell off the cliff. :>( I'm going back to take this photo again with part of the face missing. (Before and After)
