Photographer's Note
Coming home from dinner on Sunday night, we could see the sky going crazy with lightning. I stepped on the gas to make it home in time to catch a large thunderstorm cell moving eastward over Long Island, NY.
Processing:
RAW - changed WB to tungsten, added slightly more blue, increased exposure by .5
JPG - added contrast with curves, dodged the foreground, noiseware, sharpen, resize, sharpen, save for web

Hi Jeffrey,
I think that you've done a really great job here, both in capturing the wonderful light and post processing. I do think thought that a stronger foreground element here would have really made this and even greater shot.

Hi Jeff,
I absolutely love the color in this one and, in my opinion, a stronger foreground might have conflicted with that awesome cloud bank in the distance. I think this has just enough foreground context and detail.
Cheers!
