Photographer's Note
This is the view looking west towards the Old Courthouse and downtown St Louis, taken from the top of the Gateway Arch.
The Old Courthouse was where the American pioneers very often used to meet prior to making the journey west, and this together with the stainless steel structure of the Gateway Arch form the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial.
Standing 630 feet high, the Gateway Arch is the tallest national monument in the United States.
Thank you for viewing.
Mal.
