Photographer's Note
This photograph was taken during a house burn for training purposes. When the order was given to ventilate, this firefighter started knocking out the window with his pike pole. The rush of air to the fire caused the fire ball to erupt.

Wow, intense moment! I can't imagine the heat! Nice job! Did you get any shots turning the camera vertically -to get more of the upward flames in the shot?

Superb. Did you take any others showing more of the upward part of the ball of flame? (The same question as JennHen asks).

Very nice action shot. The window is like a frame for the firefighter and the picture is so clean and sharp. I like the color of the fire and your framing. Very good job!

I gave the tips to Fireman, Scott, but it seems to me that you could write a manual about this kind of photos. IMpressive picture. Good colors and sharpness. Good training also for you.
