On the way towards Nubra Valley in Ladakh our car broke down and we waited more than 3 hours here. Sun was setting down and was playing hide and seek with clouds and mountains.

A good shot of this harsh landscape, with weathered rock faces and sun and shadow bouncing around. It is well composed and I like how the light tones change as I look into the distance. All the best, Casper

Just browsing through your gallery and was wondering how come I have missed your posts !! You have a wonderful gallery with beautiful compositions.This one is amazingly beautiful composition again.Top class sharpness and clarity.Wonderful colours with minute details and textures specifying the landscape in this part of world.I think you have shot it facing the sun but how you handled the situation is very very impressive.Wish you a long stay at Trekearth.I will surely be back to your gallery.

Hello neloy,

Wonderful shot with perfect contrasts and colours..!! did u notice the outline of the mountain in the FG is been haloed because of the sharpening and the subsequent burning....?? I like the clouds here very much..!!
