Second location: Wattenheim, Römerweg

About the story:

a true little story about the hard struggle of an amateur-photographer to get some pics during very changing weather-conditions the whole afternoon..

About the picture:

some days before Thomas asked me to take some pics at this location, perfectly in the after midday light.. he had seen this alley when driving by on his way to "Bema-town and country" (Hertlingshausen..)
so i started my little journey through time and space with a first stop at Wattenheim, so i get my first chance to do some inspirated captures..

only a kilometer far away from the first stop, we now have arrived at the second location, Römerweg (Roman alley).

and here we have a look towards a horsepaddock, located beside that roman alley...
at WS a second shot..

Hello Bernd,
A nice atmosphere with the horse and the large tree and the building which looks like an extension of the hillside. The light shines very nicely from the left onto the ground in front of the building (stable?) and is filtered through the autumn coloured leaves.

uno scatto ben pensato e realizzato con tecnica al top.
Mi piace il fascio di luce spot dietro il grande albero che contribuisce insieme al cavallo a dare profondità a questo scorcio di campagna.

very nice composition by the horse under the golden tone leaves caring tree...like the play of light & shade effect here...
good DOF controlled with nice light management....color tones & sharpness are good also good...

Hello Bernd, I like your shot of this scene in the forest. The horse is essential to the picture and the location is excellent. Rule of thirds. This is a real rural picture with the building tucked into the background. A truly pleasant shot. Regards, Roger

Hi Bernd,
There is a very pleasant light over the little house here and an impressive tree covers the whole scene. I like the diagonal lines that converge somewhere outside the frame. The horse is also well positioned in your composition. A very beautiful picture!

A very beautiful nature picture in a perfect square format. Well composed with the diagonal line of the hill, starting already at the roof of the horse stable. Beautiful autumn colours. I have a little preference for the picture in the workshop. The horse is a very important element in this picture.

Hello Bernd, I prefer this to the two in WS only because I think the softer look gives it real moody atmosphere. A lovely rural scene, well captured, I think the light on the shed is super, compliments.
