Photographer's Note
Last July, there was an event called "Les eaux nocturnes" in the gardens of Versailles.
It consisted in an ephemeral exhibition of artistic set up based on light and water.
At the entrance I was given a brochure detailing what I was going to see through the pre-defined trail. I admit the exhibition was fantastic! But poorly organised in my opinion. Indeed, you'd better be quick...to enjoy all of the journey!
Indeed, the event began at ~8pm and ended at 11pm. the journey was along all of Versailles gardens => 815 hectares. this means not a lot of time to stay in admiration in front of each garden animations...all the more as there's a LOT of people like you trying to reach each next garden...
The event ended with nice fireworks for which people were kindly asked to reach the castle main court...and this was more a threat than a plead as security guards were closing the gardens and stop the animations to force people reaching the castle. Well...then i must say I was a little bit frustrated...
10mn after the fireworks...another screaming voice "Kindly" pleading people to get out and reach there car!....then i was no longer frustrated but clearly pissed-off!
Anyway, a fantastic event...to enjoy with your best runnin shoes!

Hello Prisley,
I like the way this image combines reality with a bit of surrealism. These large, pastel balls are very pretty, and they make an interesting foreground against the deep, blue sky and last bit of sunlight in the distance. A very unique presentation. :-)

This picture is full of contrasting colors, very difficult to catch in the night! the spheres reminds me something like magic-crystal balls, but I think they take too much space (or maybe they are too close to you), why don't take a little more background? It's Versailles!!
