Snowy Mountains #3, a photo from Victoria, East

Photographer's Note

From Rawson Pass it's only 1.5km to the highest peak in Australia. The path is steeper and circles the summit. Upon reaching the summit at 2228m relax on the top of Australia, pat yourself on the back, phone your friends and take some pics.

very nice landscape shot with nice framing by the the snow covered field in FG & the rocky stones under the texture blue sky in BG...also like the textures of the rocks...
good DOF controlled in a sunny day....color tones & sharpness are good also...

How fitting that a Pole should post a photo from Kosciusko National Park, a tribute to Poland from 20,000 kilometres away. Beautiful colours and contrasts along with excellent sharpness and composition. I could not ask for more.

Ah! One of my favourite spots anywhere in the world Zbigniew although I always go in summer. Great composition and clarity. Maybe a touch too much saturation in the sky (but certialy nowhere else).

Very interesting, I thougth there is not Snow in Autralia in fact I was thinking maybe I read wrong maybe is Austria, so thank you for show us this wonderful place and the grate picture too, very nice colors and contrast.
