Photographer's Note
Just wanted to share this photo I've unearthed before taking a long break from TE. =(
About the photo:
We all know what famous architecture is this right? Fontana di Trevi is the largest Baroque fountain in the city, one of the most famous fountains in the world and one of Rome's celebrated tourist spot.
So what about this photo? I've seen lots of photos of this fountain everywhere, around the net, and here on TE better than this one (i think) but, have you seen this crowded place clean and clear before?? I guess you'll see seldom photos of fontana as free as it could be.
Stayed up all night, spent the time roaming around Rome from 12midnight up to 6 am in the morning, spent a couple of hours just relaxing and waiting for the people to clear out this site. The moment was simply spectacular and surreal, its as if it we (my friends and I , pardon her head and the map on the left side below corner) have reserved it solely for us.
As soon as the people cleared up, grabbed my camera and of course, I wont let this opportunity to pass. Stitched in 15 photos for this one, (thanks to PP) shot taken around 5 am in the morning.
The glare and the glow on the right corner was brought to you by the lamp post.

Insights:
Dear TE Friends, whew, this week was damn busy and hectic. As much as I'd like to browse and comment on your photos, I just can't, my work is driving me crazy. Looks like i'll be taking a long leave from this site and Hopefully this wont be my last post.
Au-revoir!!
Enjoy!

Hi Mathieu.
Hope you don't take a long break from TE... This is a beautiful image. I see that there's a lot of work behind, but it seems like it was worth it. Now you got something quite unusual. The stitch also seem to be well executed. Well done!
Take care,
Fredrik

Hi Mathieu!
One of the best shots i've ever seen of F. di Trevi. The night light is fantastic as well as the POV.

Hi Matthieu!
Very nice stitching work. it has created a truly interesting perspective. Lens flares work well to fill the black space in this case. Beautiful work.
Best wishes, Hisashi

Mathieu

Molto ben visto!

Thanks for your kind words, Matthieu.
Many compliments for your idea of stitching and for having been so patient that night; the result is most spectacular to tho point it could be printed in National Geographic Magazine: Overall view depicted with fine details and perfect mid-tones for an uncommon impression of space in this cramped location.
See you soon, night bird!

Hi Matthieu,
thank You for comments.
Spectacular view of one of the icons of Rome city. Nice light from the top corner gives much details on the fountain, excellent colours and clarity.
Regards,
Mike
