Once every year in Vreeswijk, one of the old centers of Nieuwegein, The Netherlands, there is an evening called 'Vreeswijk bij kaarslicht', which means Vreeswijk by candle light. Thousands of candles are lit, street lights are off, which results in a charming, cosy Christmas like atmosphere.
This is the catholic church in Vreeswijk, inside of which the lights were causing, together with the darkness outside, a dramatic, almost spooky glow in the dark.

PP: boosted the saturation, lit up the sky a bit

exposure time was 4 seconds, no tripod, but I used a fence to rest my camera on...
