Photographer's Note

Early morning, a small island in Loch Leven which is used as a cemetery for the local clan. The swan is too central for my liking, but it gives the photo a focal point.

Great landscape of this place. Beautiful colours and excellent composition. I agree if the swan was in one of the corners this could have been a great composition as the island is the main subject matter and focus?

Absoutely beautiful place with an erie feeling to it, you have done this very well to capture the mood but also the stunning surroundings. The swan looks fine BTW :-)

Beautiful, great POV! I love the swan and the lines in the water. The colours are wonderful. The graveyard makes it mysterious, nice atmosphere!

hello Alan,
this is a gem. The blue tones add extra atmosphere to an atmospheric subject.The trees have a quality not dissimilar to those clinging to China's Yellow Mountains. Excellent.
