Photographer's Note
Thanks for correction. I have updated this description accordingly.
Nilgiri Parbat (6,474m)This Peak is located at east of Badrinath. I clicked this photograph during my visit to Auli in summers of 2010.
The peak is on the ridge going northwest from Hathi Parbat and Ghori Parbat all the waya to Mana Parbat.

Stunning photo here of this magnificent peak. The dark foreground and the very imposing size and shape of this mountain really makes for a wonderful shot here. The different shades and layers also add to the overall effect. Just very nicely done.

Nice shot, really. But Yes! This is Nilgiri Parvat, not Kamet. I agree with raduday. Kamet is located in a different range Zanskar which is located behind it. Other peaks of Zanskar range are Mukut, Mana, Abi Gaamin etc.
In many places Nilgiri has been marked as Kamet! My personal experience is the local people only can point Nanda Devi, Hati, Ghora (Ghori) and Palki correctly. Some of them are also confused about pointing Deoban and Mana correctly!
