Photographer's Note
Another shot from Beautiful BC's West Coast.
This time looking down at the glowing puddles of gold, amidst the ripples of sand left by the tide.
Hope you like it.
Post production: Curves adjusted, Sepia added, border added.

Beautiful shot of sand ripples, Dan! Very esthetic with silver reflections. I like this kind of shot, thanks for sharing!

You demonstrate a competent image here. The diagonality of the ripples, with sky reflected, contribute to the photograph's success. The sepia toning completes this nicely.
Well done Daniel,
Regards,
Vic, Singapore.

Man o man do you love that crappy border!!!
;-)
A pretty pic. Nice patterns in repetition. I like the diagonal framing, and the lighting is definately the star here. A good one!
Did I mention the frame?

Superb, for all the reasons the others have pointed out. And artistically framed. Teaches us to look for attractive patterns like this in otherwise ordinary circumstances.

Hello Dan :)
With these ripples patterns, very graphical an creative shot. Contrasts and reflection are very well highlighted by the Sepia effect. I like also the fine reflections of the trees in background. Well Done, Dan.

Hi Dan, I've tried and failed at this shot many times. What a great feel here. The sharpness is absolutely perfect. You particularly notice it on the ridges. You seem to be hitting a lot of home runs lately. Take care, Don.

A marée basse c'est exactement là que j'aime marcher pour sentir sous mes pieds nus le double bonheur de l'eau et du sable mouillé.
Quel beau motif naturel que seul la marée peut renouveler à l'infini..
Very well done Dan!

Avec un peu de sable et de mer on peut faire d'excellentes compositions.
Celle-ci est parfaitement agrémentée par la lumière incidente.
Bon travail.
With a little sand and sea one can make excellent compositions. This one is decorated perfectly by the incidental light. Good work.

wow. I have never seen anything quite like this before. I would give you just 10 pts for originality, if I could.
but not only that, but the composition is breathtaking. I love the beautiful silver tone of this picture.
can you please tell me what the scale of this picture is (like how many inches or feet on one side).
thanks, regards,
Behrang

Hi Dan
Nice photo. I specially like the way those ripples seem to fade away.
May be a touch of contrast would make it look better?
