This area in Ottawa has many retirees who may enjoy the pleasant quite and clean environment. I guess this a perfect post for people who have worked in foreign affairs or politics for a change

Hi Ian,
The idea of your composition is a classical one. Most of the time, it works better with the subject not in the center of your piture but at 1/3.

Hi Ian,

I like the way this is so centered .. it amplifies the bench powerfully .. I think you could brighten it a nudge without losing the impact of the dim light and make it even more powerful. very nice. take care, John
