Photographer's Note
Seagulls waiting for a storm, in the tiny fishermen village of Sandy Cove, Halifax County in the Nova Scotia Island, Eastern Canada.
Seagulls wait for the rain, wait for the back of the ships, wait for the fishes, under the fresh sun of Canada.
Not too much to do in Sandy Cove, you can just have a beer and look to the sea, waiting for something.

I've checked whether anyone mentioned about The Birds of Hitchcock, answer is no, so i will:
Your photo recalled me the Hitchcock movie "The Birds" :))
Recalled me how they settled over that village, how they peeped on the inhabitants, how little by little they applied terror on people, and how in the end they became deadly.
Of course the gulls here don't look like potential psychos, but maybe because of the grey sky and that dense atmosphere, i felt likely to consider those details. Hope you don't mind Paolo.
Btw, great capture and gulled graphics.
Ciao,
Deniz

It's quite eerie actually as they all sit there waiting....There is also something about the light that adds to the mood. At least one of them has his beady eye on you. Well done

Hello Paolo,
ciel et couleurs impressionnistes et surréalistes, une compo qui se rapproche vraiment de la peinture.
J'en aime le cadrage et l'oblique formée pas les oiseaux perchés.
BIen à toi.
Daniel.

Hi Paolo,
Don't worry - on the west coast of Canada, the seagulls are much livelier...I like the stormy mood of the scene and fine lighting. The gulls add to the lines and graphism on the right. Good light and shadow effects on the little building. Your cropping work is effective here. Cheers.

Good morning, Paolo,
What a strange and interesting shot... very "Hitchcock." They look like they are awaiting some dark and secret signal, and the intense contrasts in the sky seem to confirm that -- ominous and alive. Nicely done, I like it!
Regards,
Lisa
P.S. Congratulations on your new baby!
