Photographer's Note

Late Sunday afternoon and I was on my way to visit my brother and his lady. The day was just barely warm enough for snow to melt on black asphalt, but with a windchill low enough to force me to button up my coat.
I saw the shadow cast by this tree and thought: that skeleton will soon be wearing a lovely green coat!
Today, just two days later, the temperature is at minus 10 with a strong wind that makes it feel like minus 20 (according to the weatherman).
But today is supposed to be the start of spring (just an hour after I post this!!!) Such is spring in Canada.

Tech: shot handheld, resized, sharpened and framed for TE

Thanks for your visits, your critiques and your patience with me while I pack up to move (I HATE this process)
