...Lasciamo Quebec city per andare verso nord, il primo centro dove ci fermiamo è Tadoussac, un meraviglioso posto dove tutto è a misura d'uomo.

Questa è la regione della pesca e delle balene, che compaiono numerose al largo delle coste in estate, da aprile ad ottobre, là dove si incontrano le acque del fiume e quelle del mare, dove il crill (piccolo crostaceo) è più abbondante.
Tadoussac ed il fiordo del fiume Saguenay, una spettacolare insenatura delimitata da ripide scogliere, sono il luogo privilegiato per l’avvistamento dei mammiferi marini. Panorami grandiosi, pareti verdeggianti di alberi a picco sul mare, ma anche scenari a tinte espressioniste non appena scende la nebbia (e la temperatura): una foschia da Transilvania in un ambiente maestoso e imponente.

Questa cappella è il simbolo della città di Tadoussac e per il fatto stesso della sua regione. Costruito nel 1747, è conosciuta anche come la Cappella degli indiani.
