Le McCleary’s Spirit mesure 116 mètres de long par 19 mètres de largeur. Ce chaland de charge de mer profonde a été construit en 1969 à Temse, Belgique et est entrée en service sous le drapeau belge à Zeebrugge, son port d’attache. Elle est équipée d'une entaille sévère qui peut accomoder de gros remorqueurs marins. Depuis l’année 2001, elle est utilisée pour le transport du gaz d’avion.

Une vue rapprochée de l'épave est disponible dans le workshop.

The McCleary’s Spirit measures 116 meters long and 19 meters wide.This deep sea bulk barge was built in 1969 in Temse, Belgium and she entered service under the Belgian flag with Zeebrugge as her home port. She was fitted with a stern notch that could accomodate large ocean tugs. Through 2001 she was converted to a jet fuel tank barge.

Bonjour Denis,
That is truly amazing!! How did you get that seagull and the barge so sharp??? Ordinarily I would comment on the wonderful sky first but the detail of that bird is really impressive.

Très jolie composition avec ce mélange des bleus de la mer avec ceux du ciel.Les nuages complètent très bien la photo.Le navire rouge contraste bien avec son environnement.TFS.

a nice snapshot with the necessary seagull to escort almost every boat.The red colour contrast perfect with the blue of the sky as the sea too.

Hello Denis,

I know these shipping yard very good, I came since 1980 almost every week on these yard.
I live on 20 km of Zeebrugge.
Perfect composition real a school example, 1/3 and 2/3 this is perfect.
Colours and sky are superb. TFS.

Une photo maritime que j`apprécie bien. Le goéland le dirigera au bon port. Les nuages duveteux et l`eau fasconnée par les vagues font une magnifique ensemble bien défini jusqu`a l`horizon.
