Photographer's Note
A lone female sea lion bathes in the sun on a mussel and barnacle laden rock off the coast of Long Beach, British Columbia.
I'm not sure why she sat separate from the rest of the group, maybe she was the alfa female...
It was interesting to see the acceptance of the seagulls and the sea lion in such proximity of each other.
