Photographer's Note
A shot from the archives. I typed "West Coast" into Adobe Lightroom to retrieve some my of my recent shots from past Dec. trip home, as asked-it showed me all the photos I had tagged with West Coast including some older ones from back in 2003.
Although the original image was relatively 'flat', some PP work helped to bring it back to life a bit. I selectively adjusted levels for the foreground and background, and applied some burn and dodge to the foreground to bring out the ripples.
I hope you like the shot...

Hi Dan
A very nice bit of PP. Patterns from nature always make for wonderful landscapes. Well done.

Hi Dan,
This is a different looking photo which quite some interesting ripples in the foreground. I love how the sand looks like waves and how you were able to bring out this beautiful contrast. I love the mysterious look due to the fog hanging over the ocean! Great work, Dan!

I like the etmosphere and simplicity in this one! Nice eye leading lines and interesting tonality. Cheers, R.
