Fall Colors at the Konni Lake Church, a photo from British Columbia, Western

Photographer's Note

I am not sure if this old log church at the eastern end of Konni Lake is still used, but it is certainly part of the history on the Nemaiah Valley Indian Reserve. Here the time of year and the time of day gave me a gift, where in most of the valley most of the colored leaves on the aspen poplars had already blown away! The valley is around 4000 ft above sea level, so winter comes early!

So vivid bright color contarst of blue and gold is so marvelous and admirabe to see.

Wow! This is a magnificent image. The contrasting warm and cool colors between the foliage and the sky is striking. For me (and most others, I think) is the beautifully curved tree framing the scene in the background. The array of branches projecting from it draws the viewer's attention to the center of the scene. Outstanding!

WOW ! Wonderful contrast of the luminous yellow leaves with the superb blue sky . But the composition is especially beautiful , too , with the perspective from the big trunk in the FG , to the alley and the rustic hut , as a perfect focal point .

What a great scene, huge feeling of depth with wonderful autumnal colour of the trees and outstanding contrast to polarised blue sky. This is gorgeous landscape excellently composed enriched by lovely play of shadows. Splendid shot & appreciate your extra image, Congrats.
