A very nice place plus a very good camera man to complete the picture like yours.
I have been to Banff before. The lake surface was icey when I was there.

Hello Keith,
Welcome to TE, and its most addictive aspects. This is a wonderful shot depicting a 'Suburb of Paradise.' The composition is first rate, so is the exposure, the colors and the sharpness. I would recommend cutting down the width of the mat somewhat for this extraordinarily beautiful shot, a principle I preach, but don't necessarily follow! This shot deserves more than a few smileys and will no doubt earn a bucketful.

Hey Keith and welcome to TE!
This is a great starter for your gallery - Good reflection and use of filters to overcome the contrast lighting between land and sky. Good exposure control to get most of the details in the shadows and in the meanwhile without blowing the highlights of the peaks (hence the Grad ND).
Composition is also nice, including the FG with good clear view of the lake's floor (hence the polarizer).

Beautiful shot! I've stayed at this campground, but I didn't get any photos as good as this! Perfect reflection and the light on the peaks is great. Well done!
