Photographer's Note
Quebec has many roman catholic sculptures in its cities. You will find this sculpture of the Sacred Heart in the old part of Trois-Rivières on Notre-Dame Street close to Des Forges Street.
I took this picture yesterday night without a tripod and chose not to use the flash to give priority to the existing light and the colour of the bronze with the highlight of the snow. As I aimed, bracing myself for a long exposure, the moon shone through the clouds, so I decided to give a halo effect to the sculpture. Hope you enjoy it!

Superbe moment et le bon angle. L'effet de la lune est parfait. Pour moi, elle t'atendait! La couleur du bronze est bien conservée, sans flash. Bonne exposition. Définition précise de la statue, donc bon focus.

A fine atmosphere you got on this capture - I like the moon giving us the silver glow - and fine reflections as well - thanks Genevieve for sharing.
