One hour inland from Halifax lies the Musquodboit Valley. Farming and lumber are the major industries here. The photo shows the United Church in Upper Musquodboit.

From the Musquodoboit Valley's website: "The name Musquodoboit, pronounced (mus-ka-DOB-it) originates from the Mi’kmaq language, and means "rolling out in foam"."

The paleness of the church stands out well against the darkness of the sky.
A more appropriate title (I think) would earn you more deserved points.

A nicely framed image you have here. I like the curve of the road and how you give weight to the white of the church, green of the grass/trees, and gray of the sky, even though the latter predominates. Nice contrast not only colour-wise, but also between the stillness of the building and the dynamic clouds. Good capture of that stretch of light sky on the horizon!

This a great shot, the dramatic and threatening stormy sky in contrast with this magnificent white chapel gives importance to the whole composition. Love the extreme contrasting colors. Very impressive threatening dark sky shading the brightly lit church, an exceptional moment captured. Such a dramatic atmosphere and you are blessed by the magic light at this late hour which turns this to such a fabulous shot combined by the right elements as there are numerous things to catch the eye here and your timing is right.
