Photographer's Note
There were numerous fish trying to climb the falls, without much success . This picture was taken in Bowering Park.
I tried to take a picture as they leaped into the air . Quickly I realized that this is not an easy task . I will try a tripod the next time . However the bank is very steep and I can't get closer to the water without going for a swim .
Unfortunately this picture was a little blurred and I tried to sharpen it the best I could .
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated !

In this case, an even higher shutter speed would have worked wonders - and helped you get a sharper image. The problem here is getting the exposure right. Spot metering would have helped get a correct exposure on the fish, but isn't really possible when they are continuously on the move like this. The solution, I think, would be to choose a very high shutter speed (1/500 or faster) and bracket the aperture settings. Can you give us the exposure settings for this shot?
