Hi Marine,
Very interesting shot, I never knew buildings this large were made from rammed earth. I thought that technique was only for houses.
Good daily life capture, really makes one appreciate what one has in life.
Good composition and POV, there are many interesting things to look at in this capture.

This is a beautiful shot. First of all we do not see so ofetn some pictures from Yemen and especially from Yemen city. Also, this picture full of this dusty mood is just wonderful. I am very impressed by the skyscrappers . They look very old and still there. Very beautiful shot . Geraldine

Nouvelle vue intéressante de Shibam.
L'intérêt de cette photo est qu'elle montre la vie de cette ville et ses habitants alors que souvent on n'en montre que ses bâtiments (forts beaux au demeurant)

Bonjour Marine,
Etonné de constater que cette image magnifique ait pris si peu de points verts. j'apprécie la lumière, le cadre avec ces gratte-ciels yéménites et les silhouettes des joueurs de foot qui s'estompent dans la poussière qui capte la lumière.

Les proportions sont tout à fait extraordinaires... Je rêve d'aller là un jour, aussi de me rendre dans un de ces appartements et de voir comment c'est agencé à l'intérieur, fascinant !

I have a dreamy memories about Shibam... so dreamy that I still don't dare to return.
I scan with eyes the place in your image and remember a dusty wind that hided the sunset.
Images like this one of Shibam often can also lead our memories out of heart and give us the chance to be back, for a while...

Salut Marine,
J'aime beaucoup ta photo très caractéristique du Yémen. Les immeubles sont presque toujours de la même forme en pisé.
De plus tu à réussie à rendre sur ta photo une superbe ambiance. Bravo.
