this boy is standing now at a very important corner in his life;he is about to be circumsized:-)
there goes many discussions all over the world about this subject and they still didn't come to end.even yesterday I've read a news about a divorced couple went to court in USA and the reason was their conflict on circumsizing their boy or not;the mother was decisive on it's healthier and the father was thinking it were against human rights.
in Turkiye,the boys of muslem families get circumsized with a ceremony and before that the boy is taken for a visit to Eyup Sultan Mosque(if they live in istanbul) with his costumes;one of the main parts of the costume is the red band with 'maasallah' wish,and carries a Nazar Bonjuk for protection purposes.

Harika bir sunnet olacak cocuk kompozisyonu olmus.Simdiden hediyesinide eline almis mutlu mutlu oynuyor ama birde supheli bir yan bakisi var:)
Renkler,not,kadraj,kirmizi-beyaz kontrasti ve derinlik super.Eline Saglik:)

The hat & costume are very sharp, but unfortunately, the face of the child is not so sharp. Wonderful color & graphism. I like the out of focus pigeons in the background. Good work overall & tfs!

Fotoğraf tek kelimeyle şahane. Özellikle çocuğun ifadesi, arka plandaki sıcak renkler ve güvercinler, portrenin yarattığı bulanık arka plan... Çerçeve de çok uymuş bence. Tebrikler.

Good photo here, Nejat; these kind of subjects are very difficult, because human beings have different culture and traditions, so the differences can be really important. Anyway, I always think that we should let them decide when they grow up, independently of what we are talking about. I think this is the real freedom of choice, a value that I really honour and value!
Anyway, this is certainly a moment the little boy will never forget, I'm sure!
