Photographer's Note

BLUE MOSQUE was founded by Sultan Ahmet 1 and constructed by architect Mehmut Aga between 1609 and 1616. It has 6 minarets. The courtyard is almost as large as prayer hall and makes one notice the elegance of the building with 26 granite coloumns covered by 30 small domes. At center of courtyard there is octagonal sadirvan which serves only decorative purpose.
