Photographer's Note
The Mosque of Sultan Süleyman the Magnificent (1557) is Istanbul's largest and grandest.
Designed by the Ottoman Empire's greatest architect, Mimar Sinan, the Süleymaniye dominates the city's Third Hill, just north of Istanbul University, overlooking the Golden Horn (map).

Hi Devrim,
Perfect silhouettes against a wonderful orange sky! I think the shape and the darkness of the foreground against the sky are just splendid, and the bird flying by only adds to the mood of the whole picture.
TFS! Best regards,
Leonardo

Şu karanlık daha mistik bir havaya büründürmüş. Martı ise bonus olmuş.
Not: Ayasofya 400 yıla yakın en büyük cami imiş Istanbul'da. :-)
Selamlar,
Erdem
