Photographer's Note
A courtyard from old syrian palace dating from the 16th century AD. The palace locates in the heart of Damascus old town. Now this old palace acts as an hotel. We stayed there in a suite called Omar El Khayyam, which was absolutely fantastic room with hundreds of years old wall decorations, mosaic-floors and extra large bed, but to be honest, it was kind of creepy - we felt like we would be visiting Dracula's castle.. =) The view is from the door of the suite. Hotel is called Beit Al Joury.
