Crac des Chevaliers, a photo from Hims, South

Photographer's Note

I took this photo along a corridor in the ruined crusader castle of Crac des Chevaliers in northern Syria. The castle wasn't easy to get to as a backpacker (i.e. not on a tourist bus), but then again this was 10 years ago. It was well worth the effort - a must see!

Note: This was scanned from a 10-year-old print, so the quality is not the best.

Hello, Rebecca -

It's an interesting perspective, and I like the way the eye is led into the rear distance. But the quality is not very good; was it scanned from a print, perhaps?

Points for the composition.
