Photographer's Note

Morning Dew on a young leaf of Syrian Thistle or Notobasis syriaca (belongs to Asteraceae). Syrian Thistle is one of the most abundant plants in Samaria; its name in Hebrew can be transliterated as "Barkan Suri".

Young leaves of this plant are very colourful and do not have those sharp spines, which are a very strong 'equipment' of mature plants.
