A Panda's Dream, a photo from Ashqelon, Southern

I live my life in Black and white
I dream my life in happy colors
I'm a puppy among the poppies
I am a Panda's dream living in a dog's body

My first submittion with my new Canon 5D Mark II.
The Lens is Canon EF 300mm f/4.0 L IS USM

The picture is taken at Kedma, on the way to Beer Seeva. It's a big Poppies field for DIY picking. The dog was gumping among the flowers to try and find his family. It was hard to locate the focus on him, but the effort was worth it.

colorful, joyful, excellent colors and dof. evey details in the sharp zone is sharp and visible.

Hi Gilad,
He is so sweet. I love how he pops up from amongst the bright flowers. His black and white colouring contrasting so well with his colourful surroundings. A happy feeling moment well captured.

Black n white are a perfect match for this red. The panda seems truly comfortable in deep red. Lovely and beautiful capture.

:) Maybe this style of theme does not ring my bell, but - this is a great example of creativity in using depth of field in an apropiate way - resulting in a very, very good photo!

Hi Gilad.
Your versatility in photography is enchanting. How you can go from one subject to another, and from b/w to bursting colors...like here. This is one of the most refreshing, tender, happy, funny photographs I have seen lately. It could be a postcard for kids, you know, a bit on the kitchy side, yet, it's much more in my view. I see it as an ode to the beauty of nature and all that living things. And you write well too...

This made me happy and full of smiles, and now is time to go to sleep:-).
