2021 zoom towards 4 pairs of twins, a photo from Tel Aviv, Tel Aviv

Photographer's Note

Early Saturday morning, from my daily stroll up the highest hill in Givatayim, once again Tel-Aviv skyline and towers. Several of those buildings already shown before on my TE gallery from the city.
There are 4 pairs of twin towers in this picture.

Center picture is at 32.07, 34.794 on the map.
The WS photo shows a wider view towards the same direction.

Both were converted from RAW, main photo is F9.0, 1/800, ISO100, spot.

I can see that in the center of Tel Aviv the new buildings are still constructed. Interesting viwew of the twin towers q and 2. Good sharpness.

Hello Ike,
Maybe these buildings have already featured on TE photos, but this nevertheless illustrates perfectly the rapid growth of your city. There is a lot of urban history seen here. The warm tones show that you chose a good time for your photo excursion.

Hi Ike,
Fascinating city scene where tele lens brings all those pairs together. The one on the right is special. A few floors seem to be a little offset and there's a bridge between the towers.

Great capture here with very impressive panoramic view of the modern part of town. There is something eye catching about having the twins buildings indeed.
I like the inscriptions in Hebrew alphabet, which add a local flavour.
Very nice side light and pleasant final effect,

I had to look several times to spot the 4th duo, which is directly in front of the taller twins at the back at left. At first, I thought it was all one building. They are perfectly aligned to look like it. Good sharpness and high pov. Tfs!

You really like twin buildings in Tel Aviv :)
Mariusz had an excellent idea to call this part of town the Twin-city.
The two buildings on the right in the photo have a walkway to each other on a higher floor.

Hello Ike,

A fine, sharp exposure of this centre of Tel Aviv.
We can clearly see how these later skyscrapers are sleek and tall, towering above earlier high rise buildings.
Some are proudly named!

Is there a connection between the twin skyscrapers on the extreme right?

Looking at your photo from Tel Aviv, it looks like this is a city with the most twin buildings.
Here in Chicago we have only one called twin corn cab buildings.
Good panorama on these twin skyscrapers in great quality.

Good perspective with a good lens, Ike!

But I can only count three pairs plus one single tower in the centre (plus three or four additional ones). Wherein lies my mistake?

Hello Ike,
I always look with extra interest at photo with the skyline of a metropolis.
The most captivating skylines arise by chance and take years to form and still change every year.
For Tel Aviv I regret that 4 pairs of twins have been placed in a row. It makes the image duller than it needs to be.
But of course, this criticism doesn't apply to your beautiful, high-quality photo.

A curious and surprising photo, that there are two buildings of the same style, a total of 4 couples, is the first time I have seen such a unique image, captured fantastically.
Very good color that increases the attractiveness of the image.
